Former TV Exec Heads Candy Start-Up

Alfred J. “Al” Abrahams has resigned his position as Director of Corporate Support for San Jose PBS affiliate KTEH to assume full-time duties as President and Chief Executive Officer of Silicon Valley Confection Company™ (SVC2™), a start-up candy marketing corporation.

Abrahams served with KTEH since 1992 and was most recently responsible for all corporate fundraising, including managing an expanded underwriting department. He also acted as liaison to the station’s special event partners, both public and private.

Abrahams and Rich Yacco, who serves as Vice President and Chief Creative Officer, co-founded Silicon Valley Confection Company. They are currently developing their first unique candy product.
